Concert tickets are hard to find. It’s not hard to believe after the way she has taken the music industry by storm. After selling more than 4 million copies of her self-titled debut album Taylor Swift, country music would never be the same. Taylor has become an icon for music lovers all over the country. She won Breakthrough Video of the Year at the 2007 CMT Music Awards for a song performed with Tim McGraw.

This would be the first of a long string of awards for Taylor in the following year. In 2008, Taylor became a household name. Wins at the CMT Music Awards in 2008 for Female Video of the Year and Video of the Year were huge for the young artist. Taylor also had another big win at the 2008 Teen Choice Awards for Breakthrough Artist. Her popularity began to soar even more with the release of her second album. Fearless produced more than 500,000 sales in the first week alone. To date, Fearless has sold over 5 million copies in the US alone. She was at the top of the Billboard 200 for 11 weeks!

In January 2009, Swift became the youngest country music artist to appear on Saturday Night Live. At the 44th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards, Swift picked up Album of the Year honors. She was the youngest artist to ever receive this award. Once again, at the 2009 CMT Music Awards she won Female Video of the Year, as well as Video of the Year. On October 26, the album was re-released as Fearless: Platinum Edition. The re-release contained six new songs.

In January 2009, Taylor Swift announced her first headlining tour. The Fearless Tour would cover 52 cities in 38 states and provinces in the US and Canada over 6 months. This included a complete sellout of Madison Square Garden! Everything was going perfect for the princess of country music, until controversy sparked at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. During Taylor”??s acceptance speech for Best Female Video, Kanye West came on stage and took the microphone from her. He interrupted her speech to say how much Beyonce deserved the award. National media outlets everywhere had Taylor Swift on the brain. After a few weeks of silence about the incident, Taylor finally put it all to rest.

On October 8, 2009, Swift announced her tour would be playing an additional 37 shows in the US. The Billboard charts for November 14, 2009 set yet another record for Swift. She had 8 charted songs on the Billboard 100, which was the most by a female artist ever. The only place Taylor could complain about would be her public relationship trouble. It is only fitting during this magical year she could finally find someone for her. The emergence of Twilight as a phenomenon across the US became exactly what Taylor needed. Taylor seems to have found the perfect fit with Twilight”??s Taylor Lautner. Finally, this princess has found her prince.

Bruce Springsteen was born on 23 September 1949 and has been nicknamed “The Boss”. He is a popular American hero. His tours and records happen with the E Street Band. Springsteen is very famous because he portrays a typical American sentiment. His songs are of the genre of heartland rock which is infused with poetic lyrics and pop hooks. They also show Americana mentality that has revolved around New Jersey which was his native place.

There has been a lot of oscillation in his albums from the commercial rock to the honest folk. Marathon shows coupled with a lot of concerts form the base of his popularity. The E Street Band and he perform intense song rituals in these gatherings that consist of rousing rhythms, emotional lyrics and intense ballads.

During his long career, Springsteen has earned a lot of awards that reflect the depth of his popularity. His awards include 19 Grammies, an Academy Award and two Golden Globes. Around 65 million albums have been sold in USA alone. Worldwide the figure crosses 120 million. Springsteen continues to have a strong fan base till date.

Springsteen had a brief married life when he married ten years younger Julianne Philips on 13 May 1985 and then had a divorce. The divorce happened because he was having an affair with Patti Scialfa who had joined the band.

Started off as one of the Destiny’s Child then launched into a solo artist, Beyonce Knowles has proven her charisma and artistry in the Hollywood scene. When she started her solo career, her albums were really selling like hotcakes. Even today, her albums are being patronized not just by the Americans but in all nationalities all around the world. Her popularity will surely soar high from here and beyond. Beyonce Knowles released her latest album entitled “Beyonce: I Am…Sasha Fierce last November 2008. Her track listings do speak of what she really is and how she perceives girl power.
“If I Were A Boy” as one of her singles made it all the way to Billboard hits.

Many people loved this song because it speaks of what a girl wants and what women need. But even if it speaks of everything about women “All My Single Ladies” reflects how women should handle singlehood and how to enjoy every moment of it. These are but the two of the releases made by Beyonce. It cannot be denied that her latest album is still making millions by being one of the best selling music albums of 2008.
Beyonce is a great artist. More than just a pretty face and a sexy body, she is an epitome of what an artist should be. She could sing. She could dance. And she pretty much has the ability to act in front of a camera. Well, needless to say that she is a jack-of-all-trade in the language of music. She can do it all. All her abilities are not left unnoticed. People love her because of all her talents. She is one of the big stars in Hollywood yet she continually improves her craft. One thing is for sure though. Beyonce will remain in the business for as long as she can because of her great talent. She could really make it all the way to consistent stardom from here to beyond.
